Hello everyone , hope all is well in your corner of the world. Apologies it has been a while since my last post , as often happens life gets in the way. Here is a bit of a catch up of life over the last few weeks.
Since my last post Winter has officially ended and those wonderful signs of Spring are everywhere.
Early Spring in my garden sees this glorious magnolia in full bloom. The magnolia was a wedding anniversary present to me from John early in our marriage , making it over fourty years old as we have just celebrated our 46th. wedding anniversary on September 11th.
John and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with lunch at Stillwater Restaurant . For our lunch I donned this teal velvet pants suit and Scotch and Soda blue and tan blouse. I added tan Neo shoes and tucked under my arm is a much loved Spencer and Rutherford bag.
I have been spending many hours in my garden (weather permitting) enjoying the beauty of the Spring blooms and doing long overdue weeding and pruning.
The first Sunday in September is Father’s Day and we travelled down to Hobart to join our eldest son Zac, his wife Sarah and our little grandsons Harry and Hamish for lunch. The little boys are growing up so fast , Harry be four in November and little Hamish turns one on October 1st. Mind you it seems no time at all since there father was their age.
A couple of weeks ago on a fine sunny Wednesday we enjoyed a drive in John’s Mazda MX 5 to Lost Farm, a golf resort with an excellent restaurant with the most wonderful views.
My lunch outfit, burnt orange jacket , a much loved Ark favourite , black knit, Moyuru pants and my Arche orange and black boots.
Joining Gail at Is This Mutton for Wow on Wednesday and Nancy for Fancy Friday.
Your weeding and pruning in the garden are obviously paying off. The pink magnolia blossoms are especially pretty. Enjoy Spring!

Thank you so much Elizabeth for the anniversary wishes. There is always something rather luxurious about wearing velvet isn’t there.
Our weather is slowly improving with some beautiful sunny days although still cool by Brisbane standards. xx
