Hello everyone , hope all is well in your part of the world.
Playing dress ups was one of my favourite pastimes as a little girl . All these years later not much has changed I still love dressing up and creating different outfits .
There have been numerous changes over the years from trend conscious teenager to the practical parent and to now dressing to please myself and refining my own style.
One thing I do know is that I love tulle , be it a skirt or as in this outfit a dress. Maybe its that little girl who always wanted to do ballet and wear a tutu (but couldn’t) regardless they are fun and offer so many styling options. I have had this Rundholz dress for a few years now and worn it on many occasions . The day was a little cool so I topped the dress with a little blue feather jacket .
Patterned fishnet tights and black and silver United Nude boots , a Helen Kaminski hat and Preen sunnies were the finishing touches.
Continuing the tulle theme in my black Rundholz skirt (a naughty Covid online purchase) . I topped the skirt with my best ever recycle find a black floral velvet Kenzo jacket .
The flowers on the jacket and my orange felt beret blend in with the pink flowers and glossy green leaves of the camellia reticulata .
Raffy and I would like to thank everyone for the good wishes. After another trip to the vet and a little procedure he is feeling much better.

Oh wow, what fabulous dress – I love tulle and want to wear a certain tulle skirt up to London. It’ll be in the Autumn when I do.
You look amazing as usual. That Kenzo jacket. I definitely want to wear things like tulle and the jacket – you are such a role model!

Thank you so much Penny. We do share a love of tulle , I do remember your skirt will be keen to see your outfit on your London visit. I o rather like styling tulle with jackets be it leather or a softer style.
You have the coolest clothes in our wardrobe and love seeing which outfits you put together. I have been tempted to get a tulle skirt but haven’t yet.

Thank you so much Mirielle , I have collected much of my wardrobe over many years. I have always loved the look of tulle but it is only fairly recently I have owned any pieces. You will know when the right skirt comes along.
Hi Jill,
First of all, so pleased Raffy is on the road to recovery.
This post and all your beautiful photos are FABULOUS! Such creativity. Playing in the jonquils is the perfect
setting. “My” favourite jacket too.
Thank you for your creativity and style.

Thank you so very much Elizabeth. Raffy is almost back to his cheeky self.
The velvet jacket would have to be my all time favourite recycle buy and is just perfect for our Spring . xx
Penny from Frugal Fashion Shopper and I both yearn for your style! I would love to dress like this. The black tulle skirt with patterned tights is perfection. And love the sumptuous floral jacket. Thanks for linking.

Thank you so much Gail for your lovely comment . Both of these outfits seem to embrace a style that seems right for me at this point in time. Always my pleasure to join your link up.
Funny, I always think of punk when I see tulle! And I love it, still love punk too! And your tights are fabulous. I really am going to purchase a pair like that for winter!

Thank you so much Nancy. I guess that’s why I am so fond of tulle as you can make it suit your personal style. Interesting tights are one of the benefits of Winter.
I definitely loved playing dress up too, dressing up not just myself but my dolls as well.
You’ve definitely found your own quirky style, Jill. I’m loving both of your tulle-infused outfits but I have to say that the first dress just took my breath away! xxx P.S. Glad to read that Raffy is feeling better!

Thank you so much Ann . I had forgotten about dressing the dolls , mine also had quite a good wardrobe. As you know I am not really a dress girl but I absolutely love this one.

Absolutely gorgeous outfits! I love all the details – the heels on your boots are fabulous! I don’t have a tulle skirt but have often thought of buying one.

Thank you so very much Emma. It really was the heels on the boots that caught my attention too . A tulle skirt is a fun and usual item to have in your wardrobe I find.
