Coat Weather Again

Hello everyone , hope all is well in your part of the world.

Coat weather arrived today in Tasmania and I don’t mind one bit as I’ve been waiting to wear this Maude Dainty coat of many colours that I purchased last year. I was originally drawn to all its various colour panels and that it can also work as a vest as the sleeves zip off and it is also reversible to a plain grey , although I probably won’t wear it this way.

The back of the coat with its red background festooned with bronze and cerise blooms . As you can tell from the dropped leaves Autumn is pretty nearly over and Winter is coming rather quickly .

The beauty of this coat with its different colours is that I am spoilt for choice when it comes to hats . Today I wore this vintage velvet turban style as it reflected the turquoise in one of the front panels . I will play with red, pink and green too. I also wore green vintage gloves and gold boots.

It has been a very quiet week here with some gardening , household chores and sorting through some clothing to donate. For the first time since his accident Raffy has had a much-needed haircut with a new grooming lady recommended by a friend and I am pleased to report all went very well .

To all my northern hemisphere friends enjoy your warm weather .

What a gorgeous coat! And it can turn into a vest? Wow! Here we are preparing to be hot this summer. But so far, we’ve had a lot of rain this past week and we will have more for several more days. It’s been kind of gloomy.

Now, that is truly a stunning coat! It’s so very versatile, too, with the sleeves coming off as well as the grey other side. I doubt I would wear that side out, either. Why would you?

A beautiful coat Jill, so iridescent and luxurious looking. The turquoise hat is a perfect match. I’m always glad when coat weather arrives. Right now it’s the opposite, extremely hot. As you can imaging, we are whining a lot!

Thank you so very much Gail. I do love this coat and was pleased how the turquoise hat worked with it. I have seen on our news how hot it is for you at present .

That is an extraordinarily unique coat – it’s amazing. Hopefully you will have the right weather to wear it. Here in the UK it’s been exceedingly hot so cold weather is a distant memory! But that coat is a stunner!

What a stunner of a coat, Jill, although I cannot imagine wearing it right now, as we’re in the middle of a minor heatwave! xxx
