Hello everyone , hope all is well in your part of the world.
As I mentioned in a previous post November is our family birthday month and last Wednesay was my 72nd birthday .
John and I celebrated with a day trip to Hobart for a spot of lunch at our favourite Italian restaurant followed with a spot of shopping for both of us . Interesting enough it was John who came home with a new jumper , no clothes for me but a few needed cosmetics , a brooch and new fishnet tights.
On Thursday my friend, Didee and I continued our tradition of shouting each other to brunch for our birthdays. Didee and I have been friends since we met in our first year at high school , nearly sixty years ago. Didee took this photo at Seaport , where we walk together on most Saturday mornings. I am wearing wide black pants from Moyuru ,white top, a Vivienne Westwood cardigan (a recycle find ) . United Nude sandals, a rubber neckace by Mika from Brisbane , Dinasour designs bangles and cream sunnies.
On Friday my sister , Lyn and I enjoyed lunch at Grain at Silos to celebrate our birthdays. A few years ago we both decided it was a much better idea to go somewhere nice for lunch for our birthdays than buy presents for each other . Mind you this is the first time for a couple of years that I have been home around the date as I was off travelling .
The photos were taken in my garden , which is in full bloom at present . Our Spring has been cooler than usual so the roses are flowering later than normal .
Last Friday was actually pleasantly warm and sunny enabling me to wear this Etal gingham dress for the first time this season. My accessories for the day were Trippen black and white sandals , white Dior sunnies , a mix of black and white bangles and my Jianhui necklace .

Well done you look terrific and vibrant for being 72. I think the secret is to keep active and enjoying life with a good glass of wine and lovely friends.
Happy days in Hobart, my hubby only took me to one of the fish and chip restaurants when we once visited.

It is the best time of year in my garden although it has taken a bit of a battering as Spring has been so windy this year.

Well spotted , they are peonies and were given to me by my sister when she divided some of her clumps . I have had little sucess with them in the past.
