Hello Everyone , hope all is well in your part of the world. Apologies for being missing in action last week , no excuse really other than a few life distractions .
I will admit that the title of this post is a little tongue in cheek as other than newish tights everything I am wearing here have been in my wardrobe for some time.
In fact here is the same outfit back in September 2021 with different tights and cream boots. It was also in my red hair and longish bob days , still considering if I should go back there again.
Looking back at these photos the softer tones in the outfit reflect the countryside this time of year. I am quite fond of this more neutral palette but have grown away from them over time . I think I was influenced by others opinions about the wearing of beige , along the lines of it being boring and makes you look older. On reflection as with all things style it really is about personal choice and how you wear it.
The jacket is Lisa Ho , about fifteen years old and is worn with a coffee coloured Rundholz tulle skirt , Wolford leoard tights and tan Neo shoes that I should wear more often .
Accessories for the day were my leopard print gloves , cream Fendi sunnies and lips earrings that I bought at a craft market in Melbourne a while ago. My friend Suzanne posed this question on Instagram yesterday , ïf you could only wear one accessory for the rest of your life what would it be?”. What would yours be , the popular answer was earrings , mine was sunglasses, for both practical and style reasons.
I arrived home from taking the photos to this lovely bunch of daffodils that my sister left on my doorstep. Yes, Spring has arrived with its usual mix of warmer days followed by wet and windy days wrecking havoc with the flowering trees.
Joining Gail at Is This Mutton for Wow on Wednesday.

Thanks so much Debbie , I like to mix it up a bit and mix my colours and textures.
What a cheerful sights those daffs are!
As for your outfit, I am swooning, and the leopard print tights are absolutely fantastic with it.
Although I am loving your current hairdo very much indeed, I get that you might consider going back to your red bob. I wanted going back to my bob – which I had from the late 80s until the mid-90s – for many years, and ultimately it was the fact that hairdressers were closed during Covid which gave me the chance to do so! xxx

Thank you so very much Ann , I was pleased to wear the outfit again with the new leopard tights. I am still in two minds about my hair so It will stay as is for a while longer. I do like your bob Ann , a good choice to go back to it.
Aren’t daffodils always such a joy.
Love the neutral outfit! You look great.

Thank you so very much Nancy .
I like the second take of this outfit best—quite elegant in my view. The earrings are awesome! I’d love to have your sense of creativity just for a day.

Thank you so very much Elisa , the earrings are a bit of fun.
I love your outfit, both the present and past iteration of it. I’m fond of those cocoon-shaped skirts. The gloves are a nice touch, and I love the lips earrings!

Thank you so very much Sheila . The cocoon shaped skirts are my favourite as they suit me best. The lips earrings are o much fun.
I love these soft neutral tones on you. Love the intricate folds on the jacket and the leopard tights. The tights are a great way for someone to try leopard without buying a garment they might not wear. Have a great week.

Thank you so very much Gail, I am fond of these neutral tones. I agree that leopard tights are a soft way to try the print.
Jill, I think you look fabulous all the time. Your style is uniquely you whatever the color! I think, if you’re longing for your red bob, you could try the red with your current style. It would be a sort of middle ground. But, gosh, don’t you hate unsolicited advice? I was trying to think of what my one accessory would be, and I think it would be a toss up between earrings and bracelets.
