Leopard Love

Hello everyone , hope all is well in your part of the world.

A fairly quick post this week as to be honest things have been rather quiet around here lately . Winter is well and truly upon us with frosty mornings and cold nights but generally fine days. Both John and I have had colds but fortunately we have recovered fairly quickly. I also visited my hairdresser for a trim last week , still pleased with my short style but toying with going back to my signature bob – time will tell.

I also had a check up with my oncologist and was given a good report -yay.

John and I took a drive to the town of Longford , firstly to buy a few things at Hill Street Grocer but also to take blog photos at Woolmers Estate by the river. You can probably tell it was rather a chilly day so warm attire was the order of the day.

I started with a black base , Moyuru skirt and Paula Ryan knit , then added my much loved Lee Bird leopard print coat , a dark brown faux Lisa Ho cape (a recycle find) , leopard print gloves , leopard print velvet turban , leopard print tights and tan Neo lace up shoes . Can a girl ever wear too much leopard print , not in my book anyway . I actually asked this question on Instagram and the general consensus was in agreement. I have always loved it because it suited my skin tone and hair colour , both the blonde and red hair. This was the first time with my grey hair , still OK just not quite as bold perhaps.

I have had the coat for at least 25 years now and it never fails to draw compliments . One of the pluses of keeping our clothes is that they become timeless and unique .

I’ll finish this post with this card from my collection – the sentiment applies to anything that simply makes us feel fabulous.

Joining Gail at Is This Mutton for Wow on Wednesday ( late again).

Oh wow, what an ensemble – absolutely fabulous. And lovely countryside.

You can never have enough leopard print. I have just bought a leopard duster coat – it’s not to wear right now but you will see it eventually. I shall wear it with my black skirt or leggings.

Yay for a good report from the oncologist!!! And, I’m glad you and your husband are recovering from your colds. I think this all leopard look is quintessentially you! It’s just so glamorous, fun, and chic! I really do like your shorter hair, but I also like to play with my haircuts.

Thank you so very much Marsha for your good wishes. Leopard print has always been a favourite of mine and I do feel good wearing it. I do still like my shorter hair so it will stay for a while , glad I’m not the only one who enjoys playing with different hair cuts.
