Hello everyone , hope all is well in your part of the world.
This was my outfit for an enjoyable lunch with John at local restaurant , Mud , one of our favourites. We were finally able to make good use of a voucher given to us at Christmas , it was well worth the wait as the food and service was as good as ever.
Now back to my outfit I am wearing a Rundholz tartan skirt paired with a Paule Ka black knit and cropped leather jacket. I am seriously considering taking this outfit to Europe with me as will work equally well with a tee for warmer weather.
As the day was a bit on the cool side I wore the black studded gloves from Ted Baker that have kept my hands warm over several Winters. Black drop earrings and Gucci sunnies complete the look.
The garden is starting to come out of Winter slumber with this Camellia Reticulata leading the way. I am also seriously considering taking this teal velour suit away with me as it is so comfortable and can be dressed up or down.
Nothing heralds the arrival of Spring than daffodils, these rather gorgeous blooms are from my sisters garden. As Lyn is away at present I am picking them ( her idea) and sharing with friends. I also send Lyn photos so she can see what she is missing while she is enjoying warmer weather.
A couple of weekends ago John and I joined our son Zac , his wife Sarah , Harry and Hamish and Sarah’s parents here at Coles Bay for a birthday celebration for Zac. The weather was kind and we all had a very enjoyable time in a favourite family spot. We have enjoyed many family holidays here , staying in a variety of holiday accommodations.
The family enjoying the view from the walk up to the lighthouse , Harry nearly five and Hamish soon to be two had a great time .
I had to include this one of Hamish , he is quite a little character .
Linking with Gail at Is This Mutton for Wow on Wednesday and Nancy for Fancy Friday.

Thank you Elizabeth and yes the teal suit will go in my suitcase.
The trip was originally planned for March this year but postponed for obvious reasons. Glad to hear you are too feel almost ready to travel again, a big step forward.
What a cutie your grandson is!
Love your outfits – that first one rings my bell, very Dame Westwood in vibes. I have similar gloves, by Danier Leather. Yes, you should take this outfit, AND that gorgeous velour suit!

Thank you Sheila he is a little cutie although I may be a little biased.
Tartan always has that Dame Westwood vibe doesn’t it. Appreciate your feedback , yes both of these outfits will be in my suitcase.
Gorgeous outfit with the tartan skirt. And that croppef leather jacket is fabulous. But I’m druling here, of course, over your gloves!

Thank you so much Nancy ,this is a favourite outfit this Winter. The gloves are Ted Baker from several seasons ago.
I’m swooning over that tartan Rundholz skirt, so yes, I agree, you should take it to Europe! I’m also loving the velours suit, which offers the perfect balance between chic and casual. I’m sure it’s super comfy too.
And how gorgeous is that vase of daffodils, what a wonderful variety your sister grows in her garden.
Little Hamish does indeed look like quite a character, but cute, obviously! xxx

Thank you so much Ann , it is one of my favourite skirts and it will come with me on our trip. I,m also pretty sure the velour suit will also make the cut. Daffodils are wonderful and my sister has so many different varieties.
Have to comment, I’m so loving your new hairstyle, off the face and looking so fresh and funky. The Camellias here are starting here too, I can see two just from my bedroom window and the Daphne smells wonderful. Mudbar looks great I will have to try them when I’m next in Launceston, I’d kind of given up on that little precinct for food but obviously worth another look, great tip. The suit looks amazing who is it by? Julie in Melbourne

Thank you so much Julie for your lovely compliment , I am enjoying my new hairstyle.
It is a beautiful time of year with the fir of the Spring blooms , lucky you having daphne , it doesn’t do well in my garden.
I would recommend Mudbar , always good food and service. The food has an Asian influence.
The velour suit is by Hansen & Gretel , it purchased it last year from Yeltour here in Launceston but they do have a website.
Hamish has such a cheeky face, he looks like a real character!
Both outfits look wonderful and I’m thrilled that you’re planning a trip to Europe. xxx

Thank you so very much Vix , so looking forward to our delayed trip to Europe. Both the skirt and velvet suit will come with me.
Yes, Hamish is certainly a little character.
You will knock Europe over with your style, Jill. I adore velvet for winter and your pants suit is fabulous.
So lovely to see you out and about and at Coles Bay, a beautiful place, with your little boys and family. Enjoy the daffodils.

Thank you so much Penny. Both the teal suit and the tartan skirt will come with me. I am still pleased with my hair , having a trim this week hoping it still is easy to style after that.
The teal velvet suit is stunning! I love the punky vibes of the tartan skirt and leather jacket too!
