Hello everyone , hope this finds you well and finding the magic and wonder in every day.
One of the things I like about only working a couple of days a week is being able to enjoy a mid week lunch. Today was one of those days , John and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Josef Chromy , an award winning vineyard and restaurant , making the most of a Christmas gift voucher.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch , a sweet potato and mushroom gallette for me and a pork dish for John , followed by rather naughty but delicious sweets .Of course we had to sample some wines , a sparkling rose , a cuvee and a pinot grigio , all excellent.
The vineyard is a popular for weddings , especially this pavilion on the lake.
My outfit for this Autumn day was an M. Dainty black and white check trench coat worn over black pants and a Ted Baker tee with sparkles at the neck.
My accessories were my white and black Preston Zly shoes, a vintage black bag , Gucci sunnies and a blingy belt to match the tee.
John stopped to take this shot of his Mazda MX5 at the rather grand gates to this European style house that is just near the vineyard. Local rumour has it that the owner , a local pharmacist, flew the builder to Europe to see the real thing rather than just see plans and photos.

What a lovely pair of shoes! I love to see how the green scenery near you. We are getting lots of rain so it should green up around here soon.
Thank you so much Mirielle , the shoes came from a small shoe maker in Melbourne and I just love them. I guess we do have some lovely green countryside near us despite the somewhat dry Summer.
What a lovely place for lunch. I will definitely aspire to this when I’ve stopped working. I love the black and white coat. So stylish with the belt and jewelled collar. Thanks for linking Jill.
Thank you Gail, always my pleasure to link up. I am sure you will enjoy mid week lunches when the time is right. s a black and white lover the trench really appealed to me.
I can see why it’s a populair place for weddings. Beautiful. Love the trench! I have a leopard print one that I can’t wait to wear.
Thank you so very much Nancy , it was a lovely venue for a wedding. I have always had a soft spot for a trench , your leopard print sounds wonderful.
Mid-week outings are just the best, aren’t they?
Your lunch at the vineyard sounds truly scrumptious and what a delightful place it looks.
You do black and white so well, and that checked trench is an absolute stunner! xxx
They certainly are Ann. We did enjoy our lunch at the vineyard and will return.
