Hello everyone , hope all is well in your part of the world.
I have been busy working a little extra as well as spending time in the garden planting some new roses .
Last Saturday(September 11th.) John and I celebrated our 45th. wedding anniversary ( my how time flies). We returned to our favourite special occasion restaurant Navaros with some hesitation as it had changed owners since our last visit. Our hesitation was ill founded as it was as good as ever with wonderful food and service.
Now on to my love of skirts , which will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me . Skirts of all shapes and colours are the backbone of my wardrobe these days as they suit my style as well as my shape. Tulle skirts are a bit of a weakness of mine so when I spied this toffee coloured one by Rundholz online I knew it had to be mine.
Fortunately I am not a minimalist by nature as it rather dramatic with two full stiffened tulle layers over a soft voile lining very much resembling a ballet girls tutu.
I paired the skirt with an old favourite Lisa Ho wool jacket ( still a little cool here) , leopard print tights , cream Hispanitas boots ,vintage brown sequined hat and leopard print gloves.
I know I will have some fun styling the skirt for a more casual look over our Summer, any suggestions most welcome.
P.S. I also may have ordered the same skirt in black.
Joining Gail at This is Mutton for Wow on Wednesday and Nancy for Fancy Friday.
Of course you ordered it on black too!! What colour else! It’s gorgeous, and with the jacket and boots and leopard details it is a outfit I would be very happy to wear. I bought a denim blue tule skirt recently, and it seems that’s what I’m wearing all the time since.

Happy 45th Anniversary! And what better way to celebrate it than by going out for dinner at a favourite restaurant.
