Hello everyone , late again , this seems to be a recurring pattern with my blogging of late.
Autumn seems to be arriving a little early this year , bringing cooler mornings and evenings but lovely sunny days. I don’t mind a bit as Autumn is my favourite season and I always welcome the return of the warm tones of the deciduous trees .
A change of season was a good excuse for a new purchase , in this case this wonderful shirt by Pom Amsterdam that I found at a local boutique. I paired it with my dark blue Rundholz skirt , added a tan belt , taupe Sergio Rossi wedges , taupe hat, orange bangles and Karen Walker sunnies.
It was love at first sight , the print named masquerade , simply called my name and I knew it would work with so many things in my wardrobe. It is a timeless classic that I will wear for many years to come.
I found this hat recently at a local recycle store . It originally came with what I shall describe as over the top embellishments , removing them made the hat much more me , I fell for its shape.
Autumn also heralds a change in my garden , with the sedums and dahlias coming into bloom.
My poor garden is very much in need of long overdue TLC at present . Hopefully time and weather permitting this will happen over the next few weeks.
Thinking of all my friends in the Northern Hemisphere as our Autumn also heralds your Spring .

It’s a stunning shirt Jill. I love the distinctive style of Pom Amsterdam. The hat is a lovely shape. Yes here in the northern hemisphere we’re seeing encouraging signs of spring. It was very warm and sunny yesterday. I have a day off work tomorrow so may go to the garden centre. We’re still in lockdown but garden centres are open!

Thank you so much Gail, this was the first time I had seen Pom Amsterdam and I really liked their styles. I hope your Spring weather stays and you were able to enjoy time in your garden.
I already saw that gorgeous blouse on IG, it’s very beautiful. Also the hat is perfect, you wear hats like the best! We had a week of spring here, but now it’s sliding over into winter again.

I absolutely love the print on your blouse, Jill! I wouldn’t mind cobering my walls in that.
The accessories are perfect as always, the belt is wonderful.

Thank you so much Elizabeth , I was pleased how the new blouse worked in with my existing wardrobe. I only have a few dahlias in the garden , usually they struggle but as its been a milder, wetter Summer they are better this year.
I did enjoy your post with Jennifer . Yes I did the quiz, I am a Winter.
I’d already admired your wonderful blouse on Instagram, but I loved having a closer look at it here. In fact, your whole outfit here is stunning! The belt, bangles and that amazing skirt: fabulous.
I’m loving the Autumn vibes in your garden, even if it is a bit mind-boggling to think that you’re heading towards Autumn, while we are heralding the first signs of Spring! xxx

Hello Ann, I know the reverse seasons are always confusing , you will be enjoying Spring before you know it.
You can understand why this blouse called my name when I set eyes on it , endless outfit possibilities too.
I always enjoy Autumn even though it is not the best season in my garden. I will look forward to seeing what Spring reveals in your garden.
We have been enjoying some beautiful days here in Georgia lately! Had to leave my sweaters behind this week in the afternoons as it warms up to 21 degrees C. I love the shape of your hat to and its simplicity! That blouse has such a pretty print perfect for cooler evenings. And the belt! I am always drawn to the details in the pieces you wear.

Thank you so much Mirielle , I knew the hat had possibilities when I first spied it . The print on the blouse really called my name and I know I will be wearing it for many years. Your Georgia days sound perfect , enjoy them.
I really like that shirt – all the colours in it you’re right it will go with so much, a great autumn purchase! While it’s the first day of autumn here it’s still feeling pretty summer-like! Still waiting for a day where it has cooled off enough that it doesn’t stay over 30 for most of the day, haha! 🙂
Hope that you had a nice weekend 🙂 It was a bit hot and humid here but we still managed to get out to the park 🙂
