All About The Necklace

Sometimes it’s all about the accessories . I guess that’s why I have always loved black as it really is the perfect blank canvas . I spied the black and white Summer Berries Jianhui London necklace on Instagram and knew that it would be a valuable addition to my Summer accessories.  I have not only admired his designs but love the fact that they are ethically made using recycled materials. After an exchange of direct mails to the designer regarding price , shipping costs, etc I went ahead with my purchase.

I am thrilled to bits with the necklace and know it will have many outings over the Summer . I couldn’t wait for the warmer weather so last Sunday on a slightly warmer day I wore the necklace with my Rundholz dress from last Summer , worn over a black knit and black and white spot tights. I added a collection of black and white bangles , a little black hat and Preen black and white sunnies.

Today’s photos were taken at the Trevallyn Reserve ,a popular spot for walking and mountain bike riding.Next weekend John has organised a car club drive that finishes up here so we were double checking the route and the picnic spot.

This is the Hoo Hoo Hut where we plan to have a picnic afternoon tea after the run . I have only recently found out the origin of the name. Apparently Hoo Hoo is the name of a service club whose members are involved in the timber industry.

This little guy stopped to check us out but hopped off before I could get a closer shot.

That is a fabulous necklace! The words necklace doesn’t justify this piece of art. And even better where it’s made from. How nice to have a run again, abs a afternoon tea is always welcome isn’t it!

That necklace is absolutely stunning and your black is indeed the perfect canvas for it. Such a show-stopping outfit, with the addition of the armfuls of bangles, the black and white sunnies and those spotty tights! xxx

What a statement necklace! And those polka dot tights just add that little pattern to complete the outfit! How fun! Always amazes us Americans that you can see wallabys in the wild (it is a wallaby isn’t it)
