First things first – an apology for being missing in action these last two weeks. I could blame the usual Christmas craziness but as our celebrations are fairly low key that wasn’t the problem. A minor computer glitch was the culprit , hopefully now fixed.
I do hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas time , however you celebrate.
This dear little man , my grandson Harry, and his parents Zac and Sarah joined us along with Callum , our youngest son , home from Melbourne for a Christmas breakfast of croissants and Summer fruits.
Harry seems rather pleased with his first train , given to him by Uncle Callum.
The proud grandparents with one sleepy little boy. I am wearing a new to me Isabel Marant cream cotton knit over my black Rundholz cotton dress.
Our other family tradition is to accompany Callum to the Christmas athletic carnivals held between Christmas and the New Year. Callum has been competing since his early teens and has many successes. This was taken yesterday at Devonport and as you can tell it was rather warm, ,my huge spot Alembika cotton pants and a black tee were perfect , cool and comfortable.
Today is hot and my scribbles Moyuru dress , worn over linen and cotton pants was my choice of the day.
Trippen sandals from a few years ago, Jianlondon necklace , Dinasour designs bracelet, thrift shop earrings and a straw boater complete the outfit.
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and a joyous 2020 and a new decade of style , inspiration and friendship.
