Today is a public holiday here , so we ventured out to Clarendon , a National Trust property that is about 30 minutes drive from home. Unfortunately , the opening hours had changed from our last visit and the house itself was closed but we were able to view other areas of the property that we had missed on previous visits.
This building was the coach house , the high arches were built so that the coaches could be viewed from a distance. I have no idea why they are not inside rather than sitting outside in all weathers.
I will admit I was rather taken with the Gardener’s Cottage with its own fireplace, no doubt a necessity on a frosty Winter morning in these parts.
Autumn has arrived here with some milder days and I am thrilled to be able to bring out my jackets again. This coral peplum one is by OBI from New Zealand ,an old favourite , paired with my spotty black and white pants from Moyuru. I quite like a more dressy jacket with softer pants. I added old pink and coral sandals, cream thrifts shop bangles and earrings, a natural straw boater and cream sunnies .
Joining Patti for Visible Monday, Jess for Turning Heads Tuesday , Mica for Weekday Wear and Nancy for Fashion Friday Link Up.
What a pity Clarendon was closed. the gardens look wonderful and yes, very curious that those carriages had been left outside but good for us as we can see them!
fab outfit. Love the sandals, the peplum jacket and those wonderful spotty harems. x

Thank you Judith, always my pleasure to join Hat Attack.
I always love seeing you wear colour! I mean, you look fab in black and white, too, but this jacket really pops.
