Today’s outfit consists of many old favourites that have appeared on the blog in various combinations but it is some of my accessories that have me revisiting my trips to Portugal. The shoes by Fly London and made in Portugal were purchased on my previous trip in 2016 . They have a beaded front panel that reminds me of the famous Portuguese azulejo ceramic tiles we saw on our travels.
Both my earrings and the brooch (pin) are made from cork by local artisans . I purchased these on my recent trip in a small shop in Porto in Northern Portugal.I just couldn’t resist the brooch and know she will be worn on repeat. Looking at her sleek bob makes me think it is time for a shorter cut again.
I am still in the process of sorting and editing my many hundreds of trip photos but do plan on a few special trip highlight posts in the New Year. Meanwhile these are just a small glimpse , the first shot is Porto and the following are taken in Lisbon.
Today’s outfit details – pants Moyuru, black and white top Paula Ryan, vest M. Dainty, coat Saquenna, black boater Fillen Broken Street, sunnies Sunday Somewhere.

Wow! How amazing do you look? I love the linen (?)coat, that adorable brooch and those Fly platforms!I went to Portugal in the 1980s and loved it. Those Azulejos remind me of Goa as does the rooftop view of Lisbon – four hundred and fifty years of Portuguese occupation certainly left it's mark. xxx
Isn't your brooch wonderful? I love finding wearable souvenirs while traveling. It is like wearing our memories. I was last in Portugal many years ago when I lived in Europe. We've had it on our list of places to revisit. I really enjoyed following along with you via IG. Your outfit is fantastic!Suzannehttp://www.suzannecarillo.com
Many thanks Suzanne, I couldn't resist the brooch. I feel the same and even though I dont buy a lot when I travel , I like to find a few special pieces .I am glad you liked following my travels on IG. Hope you do get back to Portugal one day.
That pin is fantastic! And so are your bracelets!
Many thanks Nancy, glad you liked them. See you for your Friday Link up.
What a stunning outfit, Jill! Love the coral coat with black background, and the pin is adorable! <3
Thanks so much Natalia, coral is always a favourite of mine. You can see why I couldn't resist the little pin.
Thank you so much Vix. Portugal certainly would have been rather different as far as tourist numbers back in 1980. Our first Europe trip was in 1975 and Portugal was off limits with our van. I guess there are many marks of Portugal around the world as they certainly were great explorers and occupiers. xx
What a beautiful place! There are so many areas I hope to explore and visit. I love that brooch! It would have caught my eye! Ilove the coral color on you and those shoes are beautiful I always enjoy getting something from local artist when I travel somewhere.jess xxwww.elegantlydressedandstylish.com
