New For Summer

I have been a very naughty girl this past week, not only purchasing this new Moyuru check skirt but also this wonderful poets blouse and vest. The Moyuru skirt is the one I mentioned last week that I found in Hobart, that I fell for instantly. Much the same can be said for the M.Dainty blouse and vest.
I spied them in a local store that I was visiting with a dear friend, who insisted I try them on and as they say the rest is history.

How could I leave them, they are black and white , designed in Australia and of the finest fabrics, especially the shirt , it is a fine cotton and they will work with all my wardrobe so will become favourites for many years to come.

The shirt also has the best sleeves and the vest an interesting cross over back.

Experience has taught me not to leave things you love because you will miss out. In my small city the places I do shop retail only ever get one or two of each garment , unlike major chain stores with never ending supplies.

The skirt is a definite winner for me with its two tiered hemline, interesting shape and , not to mention it has pockets, what more could a girl want.
I also have a wide variety of black and white bangles to pair them with . The other finishing touches are vintage earrings , black sunnies and my Trippen sandals.

Finishing this post with a couple of the early roses in my garden. I was rather pleased when they bloomed early for me as I will miss many of my roses this year as we are away in Europe.
I know I will be visiting many wonderful gardens , including Monet’s garden at Giverney that I saw in its Spring glory last time so am looking forward to its Autumn colours.
I plan to post while I am away , as long as the internet and technical goblins don’t have other ideas, so those posts may be more travel than style or maybe both.

What incredible items, I don't blame you for having a splurge, the shape of all three is just wonderful and the fact that they're made in Australia makes them all the more special. The sleeves on your blouse are stunning and I adore the waistcoat. xxx
