Black with silver accents was my choice for a mid-week lunch at the Clarendon Arms, a beautifully restored country pub, at Evandale , a small country town not far from home.
It was the first outing for these silver and black ankle boots from Neo , purchased at a locally owned shoe store. They are a soft as butter leather and very comfy and will be a welcome addition to my boot collection as they will work with so many different colours.
The oufit was a reworking of old favourites, Moyuru pants, Paula Ryan knit under a Sarah Paccini vest , topped with my Caroline Moore leather jacket. The silver flower necklace has been with me for many years , the bangle was a thrift shop find and the boots from Neo.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will be back in the near future. I loved the ambience and quirky interiors. The courtyard will be a very pleasant place to sit with a glass of wine over the upcoming Spring and Summer months.
Finishing today’s post with a selection of beach shots , taken last week when we travelled to Hobart to stay with my son and daughter-in-law and see their new home , now fully set up and furnished.
It was a glorious sunny , mild Winter day for our walk along the beach, called Seven Mile Beach for obvious reasons. I can see many family walks here.

Fabulous outfit! And I wish we had your winters… we seem to having your summer at the moment (it's been incredibly hot), so it's only fair that we'd get your winters, too, isn't it?
Thank you so much Tiina. It sure does seem like you are experiencing our Summer this year. We have had quite a mild Winter this year , so am wondering what Summer will bring.
I agree with Tiina, your winters are enviable! Love your monochrome look with that stunning flower necklace. Thanks for coming over to share with Vis Monday, xo-Pattihttp://notdeadyetstyle.com
Thank you Patti, always my pleasure to join Visible Monday. You know me and my monochrome. I have a feeling Florida Winter is a tad warmer than ours but I don't envy your humid Summer.
Those beach photos are gorgeous. I love the sea. I don't live near our, but when we visit the UK we always stay near the sea.
Thanks Nancy , it was one of those out of the box Winter days.
Lovely shots of the beach. The weather looks good for a winter! And I'm so interested in the edgy clothes you wear. The outfit today for instance – what amazing pants/trousers! You look stunning as always x
Thank you Penny glad you liked the beach shots and yes it was a stunning Winter day. I started wearing these shapes a while ago and find they tend to suit both my shape and style, many of the pieces are from a Japanese brand Moyuru , that I came across at a store I was working at.
Beautiful beachy shots! Love your outfit – it's fabulous! xx Maria
Thank you so very much Maria for visiting and for your kind comments.
I just love those sunglasses Jill, with the floral detail. You look wonderful in these all black pieces and the metallic touches. Those boots look and sound fab!I also love the places you visit, that pub looks so inviting! I love artsy coffee shops and pups myself. thanks for linking!jess xx
Many thanks Jess , the sunnies are from Preen and I wear them often. Black is always a go to for me and I knew the boots would work perfectly with it. Glad you like to see some of the places we enjoy. Always my pleasure to link up.
