Metallic Hues

Searching for a change I decided to follow a long held desire to become a red head. If not now when was my rationale and I am rather pleased with the result.
I would be quite happy to embrace turning to silver but my genetic gene pool had other ideas, my late mother was only slightly grey at age 78.

I often read articles both in print and online criticizing women over a certain age for continuing to colour their hair.  Always a personal decision in my opinion , do whatever makes you feel your best.

Continuing the metallic theme I donned this new to me bronze leather short sleeve jacket, a recent purchase from my local recycle clothing store. I visited on a half price sale day so the jacket was quite a bargain . I will admit two skirts and a fancy rain coat also came home that day, they were half price , too good to leave behind.

The jacket is from the late 1980’s and has the most amazing puffy sleeves. I do enjoy much of the 80s fashion.

My ever faithful Moyuru skirt  worked perfectly with the jacket . I added these bronze Robert Clergerie wedges , an embellished tee , short lace fingerless gloves ,  Karen Walker sunnies and a blingy belt, another recycle purchase.

Today was a public holiday here , so we took advantage and visited our towns legal area for today’s photos. The doors above are the entrance to The Supreme Court where I served Jury Duty a few years ago.

This row of Victorian Terrace Houses is home to several law practices and many state government legal services.

Thank you so much Jessie . I am very pleased with the jacket , both the colour and the softest leather and that it was as cheap as chips. So pleased you put your IG name too- now I can relate.

Well, red hair suits you, and I'm sure it matches your personality, too. So, go for it! I've always wanted red hair, too, but I'm too lazy to keep it up. Or to do anything to my hair, for that matter. I blame my upbringing: my mother was a hairdresser and I grew up in a salon, I must have overdosed on hairstyling or something…

Thank you Tiina , I could see you as a red head but can fully understand your feelings on hair, maybe you are right too much as a child.
