Autumn has arrived here and I do not mind one bit as it is always my favourite time of year bringing clear, sunny days and of course all those glorious warm tones as the trees turn.
Welcoming Autumn in double spots – my black and white Moyuru pants purchased earlier this Summer and an orange and white shirt – a 1980’s Christian Lacroix vintage find bought for a song a few years ago. It is the finest cotton with wonderful full sleeves and finished with gold buttons.
Unfortunately I am unable to button the shirt but no matter ( I live in hope).
A headwrap using a bright blue , white, black and orange cotton scarf was the order of the day. I was pleased with the result( although it was far from perfect) , more practice needed.
Accessories included a black and white fabric necklace, Preen cats eye sunnies and earrings.
Yesterday was a glorious day so we decided to drive along the Tamar River , which offers some great spots for photos. The bridge in the background is the Batman Bridge, named after John Batman , an early Tasmanian settler who helped establish the city of Melbourne.
The sports car in the first shot is a 1990 Mazda MX5 , John’s retirement present to himself.
Taking my double spots to join Patti at Visible Monday, Jess for Turning Heads Tuesday and Nancy for Fancy Friday Linkup.
