Maybe its the child inside but as soon as I saw this white tunic with its black scribbles I knew it had to come home. The tunic is from Japanese designers Moyuru , a longtime favourite of mine, and is made from the finest cotton , a dream to wear on a warm Summer day.The simplicity of the design and the quirky scribble print really appealed to me , must be my inner arty side because quite frankly the scribble is as good as my drawing gets.
Wind is never a bloggers friend when it comes to taking photos, never more so than when you are wearing a voluminous dress and you really are just blowing in the wind.
I teamed the dress with my wide leg cotton pants by Nicola Waite , Trippen Happy Sandals , black straw boater and black bangles.

You're an art form, Jill – that scribble tunic is wonderful and the Trippen sandals are just incredible. The wind might be a pain for photographs but it doesn't half enhance the generous cut of your top. xxx
What a lovely compliment Vix, thank you. The wind was a pain but sometimes it does work to your advantage.
We're both reveling in the black-and-white today, Jill. Your new tunic is dreamy – love the pic where the wind blows it around! thanks for linking up, xo-Pattihttp://notdeadyetstyle.com
Oh yes, we were black and white twins today . I am so pleased with the scribble tunic and its so good to wear and a bit of fun.
You look every bit and artist. And you are; style is your art. And gardening; intead of a painting, it’s a collage of flowers.
Thank you Tiina that is such so kind if you. I do think we are all artists in our own way.
My new favorite outfit of yours, Jill! It is so very you – I can see why you had to bring this dress home! Love the sandals, and the whole outfit really sings! Lots of love!
Thank you so much Natalia , it is very me isn't it , I know this dress will be a Summer favourite.
Wow! What a stunning outfit, you look fabulous! The hemline on that tunic is amazing, your black straw boater just perfect and I adore those gorgeous Geisha style sandals. Have to say that windy shot of you is fab too! Merry Christmas to you from cold and frosty Worcestershire!
Thank you so much Claire for your kind comments.I could't resist including the windy shot – not all blog shots have to be perfect.Wishing you a Merry Christmas.
Oh yes, I can see the appeal of this wonderful scribble top too Jill. I love the simplicity of it, especially how you've styled it. The plain blocks of black allow the top to take centre stage, although each piece is classicly stylish too. Lovely, lovely outfit, hurrah!Wishing you a fab festive period xAnna
