Black and White In The Garden

Today I am back in my old favourites, black and white , in an outfit I wore to breakfast at a newly opened local cafe with John and my sister-in-law, who is visiting from interstate  .
We only had time for a quick photo shoot in the garden as John ( my husband and trusty photographer) was off to another part of our state later in the morning. He is a SES (Search and Rescue) volunteer and as such was involved in providing support for firefighters fighting a bush fire on the East Coast.

The garden is starting to come into its own and will really put on a colourful show over the next few weeks as my roses come into full bloom filling the air with their wonderful scent.

My black and whites have all made past appearances and I make no apologies for this, after all I buy my clothes to last and continue to wear them season after season.
My outfit details are black leather crop jacket- Victoria Moore, black and white top Paula Ryan and black Moyuru pants. They are teamed with Preen black, white and red sunnies, bangle stack and silver shoes.

Fabulous sunglasses! And those pants, they're worth showing again and again. I think we bloggers should embrace a healthier relationship to fashion: promote personal style built on creativity and quality garments instead of the latest trends and fast fashion. You do that brilliantly.

Thank you Tiina , I spied these sunnies on my recent trip to Melbourne and just knew they had to come home. I know you share similar views to mine regarding fast fashion and buying our clothing to last and enjoy for seasons to come .

What a brave man your husband is! And as always, he did a great job capturing your artistic outfit in your lush Spring garden. Beautiful pattern play, Jill, such gorgeous sunglasses, and your sculptural pants! I am also in black and white this time, playing with Art Deco with my old beloved pieces. Come join us!
