Corra Linn , the setting for today’s photos, is a favourite local picnic and swimming spot. Last June
this area along with many parts of the North of my state suffered the worst floods for many decades.
A consequence of the flooding was the complete redirection of the river at this point.
Contemplating the changes , I couldn’t help but consider the anology between the redirection of the
river after major changes and the redirection of the path our lives can take after major changes.
My own change of direction will involve both air , train and classic car travel. Next Tuesday we
leave home to fly to Melbourne for a one night stay and then leave early the next morning to fly to Japan, where we spend three weeks touring around , travelling by train , including the famous Japanese bullet trains. I am hoping to get a glimpse of cherry blossoms, that is if the season is kind.
I still have some of the usual last minute things to take care of but am generally organised. Probably for the first time in my life I am planning to travel with minimal luggage , wish me luck.
After returning from Japan , we are home a couple of days , before heading off again to attend an MG
National Meeting in Adelaide, this one involves boat travel and a road trip.
Today I am wearing some of my favourite Moyuru pants and a cream and black top also from
Moyuru , topped by my Chartreuse linen duster coat from A.B. . A Groom bag, necklace, a gift
from my boys years ago, a bangle , cork earrings bought in Portugal last year, Karen Walker sunnies
and a vintage cream hat complete the outfit.

Good luck with travelling light, I'm sure the suitcase for the return journey will be bursting with lovely finds! That chartreuse duster coat suits you well and I am envious as I can't wear that colour, despite loving green, happy travels xx
Thank you Claire , so true no doubt I will find some treasures along the way that must come home. Chatreuse is a colour I love and know I am rather lucky it suits me, on the other hand pretty pinks and blues do nothing for me.
Jill, the shape and style of your cream hat are fabulous! It looks wonderful on you worn both ways. Have a marvelous trip to Japan and thank your participating in Hat Attack!
Thank you Judith for hosting Hat Attack. You are observant , I did play with the hat both ways.
