Back in Black at Native Point

After dabbling in the world of colour I felt it was time to return to my blacks and what better place
to show them but this little picnic spot , named Native Point, by the Tamar River.

A quiet spot for contemplation , at least on a Monday , wearing my recycled leather skirt , Trippen shoes and an Issey Miyake Pleats Please jacket. The joy of all black , a combination of shapes and
textures becomes so much more apparent .

I do love a garment that is as good going as coming and the double rows of fringe on this Issey Miyake Pleats Please jacket fits the bill to perfection. I had always admired from afar, these garments
definately not seen in my neck of the words , so when I spied this one in a recycled clothing store in Paris I knew it had to be mine and as they say the rest is history.

Blowing in the wind, after playing with shorter , darker hair I am growing my hair a little longer and
have returned to colouring my own hair . My experiment with naturally going grey was a non event due to a lack of grey so I will continue this path until Mother Nature is ready to take over.

Looking simply gorgeous! And glamorous! Once again I have to say that I haven't met anyone in my life (real and virtual) who could make an all-black outfit look so attractive and so interesting!

Thank you so much Olga that is very kind of you. I guess I find black always a joy to wear and finding different combinations a fun challenge.

Yes, when you see a true statement piece, better get it then there. And this whole outfit makes quite a statement, it's simply fabulous.

I always think blonds look so stunning in black and your photos prove my point. What amazing finds (and souvenirs from your travels). P.S. I did go natural. I am all gray now, but admit to freaking out a bit.

Thank you so much Marea, I do like my black. I must admit to thinking of Paris when wearing this jacket. It is quite a change going grey, isn't it , I found I had very little grey and it looked so very patchy so I have dcided to wait awhile.

This is an interesting look. Black looks so good on blond girls! It was very nice to add a necklace in the same colour of your monochromatic outfit …well done!

I was thinking of an exotic bird as I went through your photos, Jill! You look both like Art and like a part of Nature in this unique layered outfit. The jacket is amazing, and your shoes are perfect for the occasion. Have you watched the new movie LION? It was partly set in Tasmania, which made me think of you of course. What a gorgeous nature!

I must admit I haven't seen Lion yet, I believe the family are from the south of my state.I hope to see it soon. I always appreciate your comments and so love your interpretations. Thankyou my dear.
