After dabbling in the world of colour I felt it was time to return to my blacks and what better place
to show them but this little picnic spot , named Native Point, by the Tamar River.
A quiet spot for contemplation , at least on a Monday , wearing my recycled leather skirt , Trippen shoes and an Issey Miyake Pleats Please jacket. The joy of all black , a combination of shapes and
textures becomes so much more apparent .
I do love a garment that is as good going as coming and the double rows of fringe on this Issey Miyake Pleats Please jacket fits the bill to perfection. I had always admired from afar, these garments
definately not seen in my neck of the words , so when I spied this one in a recycled clothing store in Paris I knew it had to be mine and as they say the rest is history.
Blowing in the wind, after playing with shorter , darker hair I am growing my hair a little longer and
have returned to colouring my own hair . My experiment with naturally going grey was a non event due to a lack of grey so I will continue this path until Mother Nature is ready to take over.

Looking simply gorgeous! And glamorous! Once again I have to say that I haven't met anyone in my life (real and virtual) who could make an all-black outfit look so attractive and so interesting!
Thank you so much Olga that is very kind of you. I guess I find black always a joy to wear and finding different combinations a fun challenge.
Gorgeous, grown-up glamour here, Jill. Love the Issey Miyake jacket (I have one of his pleated scarves) and your new hair color. Thanks for linking up, xo-Pattihttp://notdeadyetstyle.com
Thank you Patti, I was rather lucky to find this jacket, I had always admired Issey Miyake from afar so was thrilled to bits. Always my pleasure to join Visible Monday.
Yes, when you see a true statement piece, better get it then there. And this whole outfit makes quite a statement, it's simply fabulous.
So true Tiina, never let a statement piece that is within the budget escape. Thank you for your kind comments.
Stunning outfit, especially the top! And I love your hair! 🙂
Thank you Laurie I so appreciate your support. I am pleased with both my hair length and colour.
I always think blonds look so stunning in black and your photos prove my point. What amazing finds (and souvenirs from your travels). P.S. I did go natural. I am all gray now, but admit to freaking out a bit.
Thank you so much Marea, I do like my black. I must admit to thinking of Paris when wearing this jacket. It is quite a change going grey, isn't it , I found I had very little grey and it looked so very patchy so I have dcided to wait awhile.
Oh my! What a souvenir to bring home, that gorgeous designer jacket! Love those Geisha style sandals and all those different shapes and textures, just gorgeous! I'm singing AC/DC now, thanks to your post title! xx
Some buy postcards , I find clothing treasures when I can . The sandals are very Geisha inspired aren't they. Thank you Claire , enjoy AC/Dc.
Further to my comments on Instagram yesterday Jill. WOW! again. And I LOVE these photos of you looking amazing in these beautiful, unique clothes and accessories – the whole post has the element of theatre, love it! xx
Thanks so much Elizabeth , so glad you enjoyed the sense of the dramatic that this outfit created.
This is an interesting look. Black looks so good on blond girls! It was very nice to add a necklace in the same colour of your monochromatic outfit …well done!
Dan, thank you so very much I do enjoy wearing black , maybe that is why. Once again I appreciate your always kind support.
I was thinking of an exotic bird as I went through your photos, Jill! You look both like Art and like a part of Nature in this unique layered outfit. The jacket is amazing, and your shoes are perfect for the occasion. Have you watched the new movie LION? It was partly set in Tasmania, which made me think of you of course. What a gorgeous nature!
I must admit I haven't seen Lion yet, I believe the family are from the south of my state.I hope to see it soon. I always appreciate your comments and so love your interpretations. Thankyou my dear.
Wow that jacket Jill, has fabulous written all over it, all of the fringe, the wide lapel in the front. I love it! Great poses too! I need to come out of my shell more! What a lovely location!thanks for linking with turning heads tuesdayjess xxwww.elegantlydressedandstylish.com
Thank you Jess I knew it had to be mine from the moment I set eyes on this jacket.I must admit to having a bit of fun with the poses, the joy of this off the beaten track location is no-one else is there , so it is much easier as I am a little shy.Always my pleasure to join in Turning Heads Tuesday.
