Checks and Changes

Today’s post is running a little late , after sitting looking at the computer screen expecting words to magically
appear I gave up and went to bed resolving to start afresh in the morning. I rose bright and early to complete the post before work only to find I had no internet connection, the joys of modern technology.

Wearing a black and white check jacket that has seen a few Spring and Summers , white top and
a new Moyuru skirt or pants depending on your interpretation and black sandals, various bracelets
and my black hat that I colour changed last Summer.I am really amoured with the Moyuru skirt/pants,
and its clever style and draping . I find I am much more drawn to clothing with interesting shapes and
textures rather than what is the latest fashion statement.

The rather magnificent building behind me , in days gone by . was the Customs House, the title remains
but is now home to a local property developer , thankfully no changes have been made to the building.

Joining Patti for Visible Monday and Jess for Turning Heads Tuesday.

Technology can be tricky, and totally unreliable. But I'm glad you resolved the issue. That's a very striking outfit,

If I ever needed a pair of pants I dreamed of wearing every day, your skirt/pants just might do the trick. They are famous! They are architectural, drapey, interesting, and comfy-looking. I love look on you. I'm glad the building is still intact. Whew.

Technology is great when it works, a serious pain in the butt when it doesn't! Glad it got resolved. Now, onto important matters!Oh the structure of those Moyuru skirt/pants! I love them. As Melanie has said, they are architectural – such a gentle sweep that the eyes follow. A clever yet understated design. And I love the checked jacket with them and the finishing touches of the colours bangles and necklace. But it gets even better. The wedges – fab! I checked out the Trippen shoes, Jill, after you mentioned them. Oh naughty you – they are amazing! I'm going to save up for a pair!

Me and technology are not the perfect match, especially when there are problems.I know I will wear these pants/skirt so much as they are so good to wear.Sorry about introducing you to Trippen, aren't they fantastic.

I feel lost when I know I can't connect to the net! And it's funny, because just a couple of decades ago no one had an internet connection in Italy…I always notice your outfits and I like them. They are very interesting and I love people with a personal style…just like you!!

I love black and white checks more than I can express. Your jacket is perfection. And the pants/skirt is the most amazing thing. You look like a little lost country girl just off the bus in the big city. A terrific look for you, Jill.

It happens to me often – I have time and eager to write a new post and then…no internet. But I thought it is only in Nepal only, problems with internet. Beautiful building, so good no changes were done to it. Your new skirt/pants is yet another interesting piece into your wardrobe.

It is so frustrating when the Internet connection fails, fortunately it is not often here so I can only imagine your problems. My collection of newer style pieces is growing.
