Winter Revisited

After what was our coldest Winter for thirty six years , so says the weather man, Spring has finally arrived
over the last few days bringing much needed sunshine . Before I pack away my Winter coats ,jackets
and hats until next year , I am revisiting some of my favourite Winter outfits. I am pleased with the way
my favourite older pieces mixed with the new (or new to me) pieces. I like nothing better than rediscovering
an old favourite that may not have been worn for a season or two restyling it and a new favourite emerges.

Do you rediscover old favourites and make them new favourites?

A great collection of winter outfits! I love rediscovering old favourites, It's like having new clothes but better: these are clothes that have already passed the 'do they suit me' test.

You know, Jill, I'm almost sorry that winter is almost gone for you. (Don't hate me!) But I've so enjoyed all of your coats and the way you style them. Winter dressing is a NEW area for me, but one I am going to have to embrace soon. I may be contacting you for advice!!!!

Winter dressing has always been easier for me than Summer as I tend to gravitate toward the more formal side with coats and jackets. I am sure you will enjoy discovering Winter dressing in your new home, I will look forward to seeing a new Winter you.

Beautiful round-up! I can't remember whether I saw the snowy photos before. Gorgeous! I do have some old favorites rediscovered from time to time, though I must admit that lately I am much more interested in experimenting with new to me styles.

Thank you so much Connie , the fuzzy coat bought last year at a recycle store has proven to be just perfect for really cold conditions, just like wrapping yourself in a blanket.

A lovely wrapping up of a season, and seeing you all wrapped up! You have very stylish winter outfits. I, too love discovering old favourites and finding ways of giving them new life. Makes your wardrobe much more versatile and is alot less expensive than buying new all the time!

Hello, Jilly! How nice of you to show a little of what I've missed from your winter ! You are just elegance personified every time you dress, I'm sure of it. No particular faves, but love them all for your precise aesthetic. Reminds me of all the coats I own. I don't wear any of them as often as I like as it isn't that cold here, so I try to wear each of them at least a little. Pretty easy to make current with accessories, coats are. Trying still to clean closets so I can keep them all in one place. Thanks againk, sweet lady, for your encouragement.
