Today my inner voice insisted I wear red and not just the red coat dress but full on with red hat and boots.
I listened and obeyed but later I did some research on the significance of colours courtesy of Empower Yourself with Color.It seems red is the colour of energy, passion and action.
Red is a warm and positive colour associated with our most physical needs and our will to survive, it excites
the emotions and motivates us to take action as it is the colour of physical movement and awakens our
life force.
I have learnt long ago to listen to my inner voice and this occasion wasn’t any different as an appointment
with my doctors clinic revealed, nothing serious just a few issues I have placed on the back burner for way too long. So you may see me in red more often , I will be needing all the energy, passion and action I can get.
Red, suede ankle boots from Ara that I have had for a few Winters now but never worn a lot, red suede and wet weather do not mix.
Adding more than a touch of red with this felt hat adorned with flowers by Scala.
The magnolias in the garden are starting to shed their Winter coats and come into full bloom. I hope too soon but know that realistically it will be a couple of months yet.

Red is such a fun color to wear and you look great in it! I bought some black suede boots last year, so I know what you mean. But I do love them!
Red is a fun colour to wear I really must do it more often. Thats the thing about suede they look great and are always good to wear on dry days.
Glad to hear the issues are nothing serious. So important to look after our health. You're wise to listen to your inner voice on many levels, not least because you look fabulous in red! Even better with the leopard print! I love it when the magnolias start to bud. I always think such potential about to happen, so much energy about to burst forth.
You are so right about looking after our health particularly as we age , I really must break the habits of a life time and take more care. Day by day the magnolia tree bursts into life , a promise of things to come.
