A Touch of Frost, no I’m not referring to an English detective series but the white stuff on the ground , this morning is -2 Celsius . I am off to visit an auction rooms , looking for an old grate for a fireplace. After some time in a freezing barn of a place and nary a grate in sight , we gave up for today. Certainly today the “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure ” applied .
Anyway as we were in the area we stopped by the old rail yards to take a few photos. This area now is home to The Museum and University of Tasmania Arts School and is continually growing and updating.

Warm clothing was the only option for this morning , I choose this well loved cream jacket with its flouncy hem and large buttons, teamed with black wide -legged slightly cropped pants from Nicola Waite. I topped this with a cream and black paisley print scarf , black suede wedge booties from Aquatalia , green wool gloves and a green felt hat , made in Switzerland , a purchase from a recycled clothing store.

A new wall with this clever hole , just right for sitting in , has recently been completed. You can glimpse some of the original rail buildings in the back ground.

I must admit to not really having any idea why this was taken , maybe it appealed to my husband’s perverse sense of humour. Any ideas?

Finishing off with two perfect Winter blooms from the garden, I really love the simplicity of the strong little flowers that brave the Winter chill to bring joy on sometimes cold , bleak days .

Joining Jess for Turning Heads Tuesday , Alison for the Wednesday Pants Link Up and Alice for Throwback Thursday.

Oh you do the cosy and elegant look so well, Jill. Love the photo of you with the danger sign, and the hole-in-the-wall shot! Nice to see those beautiful winter flowering blooms too!

Looks like a beautiful sunny winter day, the best kind (yeah, the heatwave makes me nostalgic for winter, how sick is that… ), and you wearing one of your fabulous coats. The scarf is really pretty, too. Stay warm!

Adorable pictures, Jill. As for the Do Not Enter sign, I have a husband who completely ignores them. In fact, he treats them as an open invitation. He's still alive. And not in prison. I think your better half has a bit of the rebel in him, too!

That jacket looks so warm, perfect for a day when there's a nip in the air and such great detail of the hem and the buttons. I love the wedge booties. I'm a fan of wedge booties and I love the buckle on yours. And the photos of the two flowers are gorgeous.http://petitesilvervixen.blogspot.co.uk

This particular jacket is one I wear on a very cool day. The buttons and frill are what I originally fell in love with several Winters ago.
