Black and white is always

a favourite of mine.

It can be stripes, spots,

checks or just blocks

of contrast, I really

don`t care.

Yesterday, on a mild but

very windy day,

(note the windswept hair),

my husband and I drove

to Barnboogle Lost Farm

for lunch.

Barnboogle is a golf course

set amongst the dunes

parallel to the beach.

 Lunch with a view,

looking out over

the golf course,

beach and seas

beyond.

Another view of the golf

course, golfers from

all over the country come

here to play.

I can see the attraction.

Wearing a black and white

check jacket over

wide leg black pants

and black top and black

and white necklace and bangle.

You look good in black and white. And your hair and the red accessories add a nice pop of colour.

What a beautiful setting for a lunch out! I can just HEAR the ocean waves crashing on the shore. You look STUNNING and very sophisticated in this black and white ensemble. With your windswept hair and model stances, you COULD be Australia's next top model! <3

That looks like a great afternoon in the sunshine. My husband loves to golf too. And don't tell me his name is also Russ? haha! You look great in red lipstick. I need to wear it more often. I think you've inspired me today!

Jill, Blogspot playing tricks with me – I couldn't leave a comment earlier… trying again. 🙂 I love the graphic impact of black and white very much too. Love how your necklace plays with the shirt, very cool! And the red touches are so chic! The place looks truly wonderful, I can imagine you had lovely time together! xxx

I love, love that black and white jacket! Actually, the whole outfit, is very resort-chic, and I love the red espadrilles as an accent color. I'm wearing a bit more black these days, too. It's not an easy color to wear well, but you've certainly proven it can be done!Aliciaspashionista.com

Alicia, so glad you liked the jacket. I have always enjoyed a basic black, for me the fun is adding pops of colour and wearing different black textures and I always wear a bright red or orange lipstick , thats my colour. Thank you for visiting.

I love it! Look at you, skinny person! So cute in classic black and white. Like you, I'll be wearing it a lot this season, but just the opposite season! I love the sort of golf-ballish statement necklace … abstracted golf-balls? Did you intend that? If you did, it looks clever but not goofy!

Got to love black and white, fall or spring, look forward to you in black and white Jan.I wish I could lay claim to styling the necklace with golf balls in mind but alas I am not that clever in my thinking.
