A freezing cold morning saw me donning
my animal print swing coat for a visit
to a local parkland known as The Punchbowl.
This area holds many happy memories
of numerous visits as our children
were growing up.
Warm accessories were the order
of the day, I chose my black leather gloves,
a black faux fox scarf and suede and patent
leather boots by Paco Herero.
My new hat , purchased on my
recent trip to Melbourne, has its
first outing.
I fell for the shape and detail
on this little number and the fact
that it is Australian made.
LOOKING BACK,GOING FORWARD
Joining Visible Monday and taking my new hat
to Hat Attack
That is a great coat, stylish and fun. And you need a bit of both style and fun to cope with the freezing cold.
I agree Tiina, keeping warm should be both fun and stylish. Thank you for visiting.
Gorgeous outfit Jill. Love your hat a lot. Very very beautiful.
Thank you Elsie, you can see why the hat had to come home with me.
Wonderful coat, and hat too, Jill. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday and stay warm. xo

Jill, you and your fabulous hats! Dang, that hat is wonderful, can I just run on over and borrow it? This entire ensemble looks so stunning on you.
Shame you are so far away, you could borrow any time.
Beautiful hat. and looks lovely on you.
Thank you my dear .
You have amazing style, Jill. The print on this coat is fabulous!
Lisa, you are too kind.
It's over 30 degrees C here today – our hottest day yet – so your coat and hat are making me sweat! But they are both so classy and just gorgeous. You must be the best-dressed woman in Tasmania!
Today for us about 12c, enjoy the warm while you can. Most people here are probably more casual.
You are a head turner! Your outfit is spectacular and your hat divine. I love the shape and how you wear it with confidence. Thank you for sharing with Hat Attack!
Thank you Judith, for giving all of us the confidence to wear our hats with pride.
Wonderful new hat! You look very chic! A nice outfit for low temperatures…we are having not too hot days recently, a not common weather here for the period!
So nice of you Dan, glad you are enjoying your weather.
Great combinations … GREAT!!!! You look just as gorgeous as can be. Modern and referential at the same time, and boy, can you wear a hat!!!
Jan , thank you so much , knew I loved this hat when it first took my eye.
This outfit is fabulous!!! I love a good dose of animal print (and/or fur) all year round, but especially come the chilly months, when there's almost something primal about swaddling ourselves in the same materials (or ones that look the part) that nature bestowed on the animal kingdom to stay toasty. Though I'm not in a big hurry to say goodbye to summer, I must say, this chic look does have me yearning for my own cold weather wardrobe a touch again. :)♥ Jessica
I have never thought about the animal connection but you are so right. I have always loved winter clothes best, there is something more dressed up somehow about coats, scarves, hats and gloves. Enjoy your summer ,Jessica, as your winter is so much more severe than ours .x
I love this beautiful print so much, it is such a gorgeous look on you. It reminds me to bring out my leopard print coat soon too. Thanks so much for your support, it mean so much.
Imogen, I can see you in leopard print, so good for winter. Hope you are feeling better my dear.
What a truly beautiful outfit my dear … and that hat … pure millenary perfection!
Thank you so much dear Tamera, you can see why this hat had to be mine.
