Pink Memories

I tend to add  pink in my accesories rather than

full on pink.

Pink for me evokes strong memories of my

daughter, India, who passed away in 2001

of a brain tumour.

India loved wearing all things pink,

the brighter the better.

India was known as the Pink Princess,

a title she fully embraced from tiara

to pink tutu and anything pink in between.

On this Mothers Day I am wearing

my pinks for India and

surrounding myself with

wonderful pink memories.

Sharing my pinks with all

the other pink lovelies at

Share-in-Style.

That is so heartwarming, immensely special. I'm truly sorry for your loss and admire you beyond words for having the strength to not only still celebrate this day, but to use it as a way to honour the memory of your darling daughter. ♥ Jessica

You talk of your dear daughter with a special grace and tenderness…and I feel to have no words in front of such a loss…wearing a colour that she loved is a very sweet way to feel close to her…you are wonderful ! And she surely was too…A hug!

Sweet memories, and I'm glad you told us of your lovely daughter. I'm so sorry she's gone from you. Nothing has been harder for you, I'm sure. My mother passed from a brain tumor, but had a long life. Sending you cyber hugs, if you like them, Jilly!Pink can be problematic anyway. Washes me out if it's too pale. Best in accessories, I agree.

Cyber hugs always welcome, Jan. I am sorry about your mother, brain tumours affect more families than is ever realised. So true about the pink always tricky on its own for most of us. As always , many thanks for your kind words.
