The chill of Autumn is in the air today, so a
warmer jacket was the order of the day.
I love a leather jacket and have
collected several over many years,
starting in 1975 with a burgundy
one bought in England.
Working in two stores selling
leather surely helped
my collection to grow, cost
price is always a bonus.
A back view of the jacket,
looking a little like
armour from this angle.
The jacket is by
Harry Who, and has been with
me for many years.
The lovely Tamera Beardsley had an
interesting post on her blog today about
the importance of taking photographs
of ourselves.
Accepting ourselves as the vibrant, powerful
women we are is so important and more so as we age.
The cool change is a good
excuse to bring out my
leopard gloves to
keep the shoes company.

Oh Jill, I'm absolutely in love with this jacket. What a beauty, I think those gloves and shoes give it the attitude it deserves.
Elsie,so glad you liked the look, and thank you for visiting.
That is statement making leather jacket if ever there was. I love how, at a distance, it looks a fair bit like ruffles, but get up close and discover that it indeed "scales" of leather with studs. Awesome! ♥ Jessica
Have never thought of them as scales but you are so right, my dear.Thank you for your thoughtful comments
That jacket is fabulous! Perfect combination with the leopard heels. 🙂
Glad you liked the leather and leopard, thank you for stopping by.Glad to meet you.
This is a GREAT jacket, and you should wear it every day for the rest of your life! Seriously, you look wonderful, and you've styled it to a T. Feminine and edgy all at once. What a pretty head-and-shoulders photo of you, and you wear your red lipstick elegantly! (I try but always take it off … I think it makes me look mean.) So good that you've been able to make a collection. It must have been a great thrill when your jacket came home with you.Sorry I'm so late … oddly busy week!
Oh Jan I dont think you could ever look mean. I do remember when this jacket came home and it was quite exciting and I have enjoyed it ever since.Thank you for your great comments as usual, you are such a gem.
