Autumn has finally arrived in my part of the world,
bringing some much needed rain and cooler
temperatures.
I love Autumn it is my favourite time of year,
not just in the garden but in my clothes as well.
I love the little touches on this
sweater, the cutout on the shoulder,
the bow on the neck and the contrast stripes
on the sleeves and hem.
They make an otherwise plain black
sweater much more interesting.
Autumn also is glimpsed in the earthy tones
of the beads, a mixture of wood, stone
and glass, that has been waiting for the
right time to come out and play.
My long black skirt has rows of cream
wool stitching, every row seems to be a
different stitch.( I have owned this skirt
for many Autumns and it was not until
now that I noticed this..)
How observant am I?
Another little touch.

A LITTLE GLAMOUR , MY WAY, EVERYDAY
That's such a nice combo! You're right the cutouts and other details of the sweater are fantastic. You look stylish :)Thank you so much for linking with Très Chic Style Bitsxoxo
I'm with you through and through, dear Jill! Autumn is both my favourite season and the provider of my favourite colour palette. From September through to early December, it's honestly quite rare not to see me in some combo of earthy brown, rust orange, warm mustard yellow, muted (or pine) green, rich burgundy, elegant eggplant or steely grey. I could, happily, wear that palette the whole year round, but do enjoy others, too, so I veer from it at times throughout the other three seasons. Have a marvelous autumn!♥ Jessica
